Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our clients Operating Room team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of anatomy. As a vital member of the surgical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process. Your responsibilities will include: Ensuring that the operating theatre has been sterilised Preparing the necessary equipment for the operation Sterilising material, gloves and gowns Performing initial counts of the sponges, instruments and needles Liaising with other nurse teams throughout Helping with dressings Assisting the surgeon throughout the surgery with various tasks Getting the patient ready for the recovery room Experience needed: Bachelors Degree or equivalent Minimum 6 months experience working within theatres department Minimum 6 months experience within orthopaedics is ideal Minimum 6 months experience within NHS Or Private UK hospital Valid NMC/HCPC Benefits: Significant investment in your learning and development, from short courses to industry recognised qualifications in everything from clinical skills to leadership Flexible shift patterns to support your work-life balance The autonomy and support to make influential, necessary decisions The opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, lead a team, and deliver quality care across a range of services Job Type:
