The successful candidate will work alongside a dedicated team of Ophthalmologists, Orthoptists, Orthoptic Assistants, Optometrists, and Nurses in a busy supportive department.
Relocation expenses will be covered by the Trust for the successful candidate up to a limit of £5k.

The Orthoptic department currently provides general adult and paediatric clinics, including patients from eye casualty, neurology, stroke rehabilitation team, paediatric vision screening, and special school screening. In an extended role capacity, we currently support/work in the following clinics: Dystonia/Botox, JIA, AMD, and Glaucoma Monitoring.
The post is based at North Devon District Hospital; however, we also hold clinics at various community locations, therefore an ability to travel is essential.
We welcome applications from new graduates and offer appropriate development and mentoring opportunities. We provide both BIOS and Trust Preceptorship programmes.
Applicants will need to be enthusiastic, motivated, and keen to work hard in a busy environment.
Applicants must hold a degree or diploma in Orthoptics and be registered with the HCPC.
Working Pattern:
4 long days - 3 days of 9.5 hours and one day of 9 hours.
