Our Outside School Hours Care service, Donvale Christian, is looking for a passionate Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. The service's operating hours are Monday - Friday, 6:45 am - 9:00 am (Rise then Shine Program) and 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Stay and Play Program).
This is a Permanent Part-time opportunity offering flexible hours to assist with leading a team of passionate Educators. You can work Monday - Fridays afternoons only or morning and afternoons, completely up to you! Plus an additional 5 admin hours per week, and you can pick up block shifts during the school holidays.
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into! Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents. Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management. Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration. Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Enjoy working with kids. Strong and clear communication. Team player with a desire to become a service leader. Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children. Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA. What's in it for you?
