Position: Out of Home Sales Controller Location: London Area Package: £70K/yr - £75K/yr Our client is a fast-growing challenger brand within the hot beverage space. They are now seeking an Out of Home Sales Controller. This is a newly created role working closely with the MD, Operations Director, and Founder. You will be a senior member of the sales team, responsible for rapidly accelerating the growth in the Foodservice / OOH channel. You will own the execution of the channel strategy to deliver sales growth across Contract Catering, National Accounts, and Independent segments, driven by growing existing key Contract Catering accounts, establishing a robust sales pipeline of National Accounts, and managing a team of two sales executives responsible for growing the Independent segment. Key Responsibilities:

Defining and leading the OOH strategy, with support from the senior leadership team, and inputting into the overall business strategy in annual planning. Accountability for the OOH forecast, both in terms of annual budgeting but also for delivery and tracking of budgeted KPIs. Driving new business by identifying Contract Caterers and key national accounts to go after, building relationships with the key decision makers within those accounts to bring us in as a tea partner. Leading & developing a team of 2 high-performing sales executives focused on the Independent segment, cementing our relationship and status as a key partner to the Specialty Coffee sector. Account management for strategic National Accounts - ownership of the relationship with those customers. Activating the brand in the OOH channel, working closely with the marketing team to support any existing accounts, as well as bringing the brand to life at key trade shows. To be successful, you will need:

A minimum of 4 years in Commercial roles, with a deep understanding of managing customers within the OOH channel. Specific experience of winning and managing Contract Catering accounts and an established network of contacts within the sector. Experience in dealing with Brakes and Bidfood is preferable. Experience working for a Food & Drink brand - experience in hot bevs valuable, but not essential. Experience using CRM systems to track team performance and enhance decision making. Strong track record of sales growth and outperformance against budgeted KPIs. Confident negotiation skills and strong commercial acumen, with demonstrated experience of managing P&L. Excellent at networking, and building and maintaining relationships. Great communication skills and confidence in presenting both internally and externally. Line management experience and experience of coaching others. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and address challenges proactively. Understanding of and/or experience in field sales. Driven to win new listings and hungry to deliver results for the business. You will be expected to be in the London head office 2-3 days per week.
