The Portman Travel Group . Your new role The role will form part of a highly skilled team of Business Travel Consultants located from home. You will be joining us as a Business Travel expert with strong knowledge and experience of Galileo, booking Domestic & International travel requirements, arranging both routine and complex travel for air, rail, car, and hotel accommodation. What you need to succeed You must be a clear and confident communicator with the ability to deal with people at all levels. You'll need to possess great organization and time management skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be able to own & manage your own workload and it is essential you have previous Business Travel Consultant experience, with working knowledge of airline, rail fares and ticketing. Your typical responsibilities will include: Booking and managing complex travel itineraries, encompassing air, rail, car, and hotel accommodations using GDS systems such as Galileo. Providing tailored travel solutions to clients, ensuring cost-effectiveness and convenience. Handling client inquiries, offering expert advice, and resolving any travel-related issues swiftly. Continuously updating your knowledge of fare structures, travel regulations, and destination information to offer the best service. Building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities to exceed service levels and meet performance targets. Collaborating with team members to share best practices and contribute to a positive, high-achieving environment. Please note, multiple shift opportunities available - Full and Part time also available. GDS System. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow instructions. Ability to consistently hit targets. Experience of working in a target performance environment. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines fulfilling SLA Agreements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel – creating and maintaining documents.
