We are currently seeking applications for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to fill the following posts within our established Juniper Green Out Of School Team:
JUNIPER GREEN OUT OF SCHOOL CLUB PRACTITIONER
PREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY UP TO £13.01/hour + holiday pay depending on Qualification status. Up to 20 hours/week – Monday-Friday (All Year-Round Contracts available with school holiday time work at other sites across the city.) Up to 14 hours/week – Monday-Thursday (All Year-Round Contracts available with school holiday time work at other sites across the city.) The successful candidate will work as part of a team delivering a high quality out of school club service for children attending Juniper Green Primary School. Applicants must hold, be currently working towards or be willing to work towards a relevant childcare qualification to allow them to register with the Scottish Social Services Council at practitioner level. Applicants will need an SVQ2/SVQ3 level qualification in childcare and experience of working with primary school-aged children. The applicant should be able to work as part of a team in the planning, delivery and evaluation of a high quality out of school care service. This is a busy Out Of School Club and requires applicants to be eager to learn, participate in and undergo a tremendous amount of activities with the children onsite. The successful candidate will show an enthusiasm for children’s learning and an understanding of how to create a safe and stimulating environment that provides school age children with opportunities for overall development. Please note that all applicants for this post must be eligible to: Register at practitioner level with the Scottish Social Services Council. Become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme. Work in the UK and have the relevant documents to prove this. The closing date for this application is noon on Friday, 31 January 2025.
