We're seeking a creative and data-driven Outbound Marketing Manager to drive innovative outbound marketing campaigns for Amazon AU. In this role, you'll lead all outbound marketing campaigns at Amazon, including email and push notification strategies, to engage customers and boost performance. You'll spearhead Amazon's outbound marketing initiatives in Australia, crafting compelling campaigns that resonate with our diverse customer base. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize our outreach strategies, analyze performance metrics, and implement data-driven solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in evolving our marketing approach and staying ahead of industry trends.

This is a 12 month fixed-term contract (FTC) role.

Key job responsibilities:

Stay on top of key trends and best practices in email and outbound marketing, competitive landscape, and the industry to develop winning strategies. Audit and analyze Outbound performance, identify issues, find root-causes, and experiment with solutions to improve performance at scale. Communicate Outbound performance and initiative status to stakeholders in weekly business reviews. Redefine and evolve key Outbound performance metrics, identifying changes and problems as they arise. Lead problem-solving efforts for complex outbound channel opportunities, diving into issues and incidents as they occur, performing ad hoc analyses as needed, and/or helping to escalate them to drive to resolution. Drive technological innovation in marketing infrastructure, collaborating closely with engineering teams to optimize and evolve our marketing technology stack. Lead initiatives to integrate cutting-edge tools and platforms that enhance the efficiency, personalization, and impact of our outbound marketing campaigns, ensuring our infrastructure can support advanced segmentation, automation, and real-time personalization at scale. Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external partners.

A day in the life: As an Outbound Marketing Manager, you'll start your day by reviewing campaign performance data and identifying areas for optimization. You'll collaborate with creative teams to refine messaging and work with tech teams to implement new features. Throughout the day, you'll participate in strategy meetings, analyze market trends, and brainstorm innovative approaches to engage customers.

Minimum Qualifications: 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience. Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements. Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables). Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns. Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in multi-territory campaign management. Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process.
