Are you a highly motivated self-starter with a talent for reaching decision makers? Chester Race Company have the fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic Outbound Sales Executive to join the Commercial team, based in the historic centre of Chester on a temporary, fixed term contract. This role will be pivotal in prospecting and generating new sales leads to support our Commercial team in bringing our prestigious and highly recommended products and services to clients across the UK. About Chester Race Company: Chester Race Company Ltd is one of the North West’s best-known and most-admired brands. It is an evolving organisation with a broad portfolio but retaining Horseracing at its core. The Company, headquartered in Chester, owns two racecourses (Chester and Bangor-on-Dee) and operates a third course in Scotland, Musselburgh. At Chester, it also owns and operates an on-course hotel, and a vibrant pub and adjacent commercial premises in Chester city centre. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Developing new business via telephone Sending mass communication such as email and social media Introducing the company’s commercial opportunities to appropriate buyers within the target market Following up on leads and conducting research to identify potential prospects Creating and maintaining call cycles with cold and warm calls Determining prospects' objectives to determine how we will achieve these The successful Sales Executive will have the following: Minimum 1-year outgoing sales experience Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint) Knowledge of CRM system (preferred) Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed determined sales and activity quotas A proven track record of building strong client relationships Excellent client service & negotiation skills Problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Benefits include: Generous, uncapped commission structure with contract OTE to be £10k in commission and bonus 31 days holiday (pro rata) Free onsite city centre parking Free chef-prepared lunch Discounts at various gyms and restaurants Free tickets for selected Race Days across the group Enhanced employer pension contribution Access to a well-being app Private medical cover (Medi-Cash) Contract:

Fixed term for 5 months Salary:

£11,000 (equivalent to £27,000 per annum at full time) Hours of work:

37.5 hours per week, standard working hours are 08:30-17:00. Some weekend work may be expected in line with business needs.
