As we approach an exciting new term in September 2024, we have multiple teaching and tutoring positions available at our client schools based in Hackney.You would be teaching at a GSL Education client school which is rated good by OFSTED and focuses on fostering a nurturing and inspiring environment for all its students. You’ll work closely with schools, families, and other professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.Academic Qualifications and Skills:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and backgrounds.Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, Science, or other core subjects.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Adaptability and creativity in your teaching methods.Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.Must-Haves: DBS: An up-to-date, enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service. References: Provide two professional child-related references to showcase your expertise and dedication. Updated CV: Highlight your qualifications and experience. QTS: Qualified Teacher Status or NARIC equivalent. Right to Work: Eligibility to work in the UK.Key Responsibilities:Deliver one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions in various subjects, focusing on the individual needs of each student.Develop personalised learning plans to help students overcome educational barriers and achieve their academic goals.Utilise innovative teaching methods and resources to engage and inspire students.Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment, building strong relationships with students and their families.Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and adjusting teaching strategies as needed.Collaborate with schools, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education.Interested?
