Outsourced Accounting Senior to join a leading Taunton Accountancy firm Portfolio management delivering outsourced accounting services to varied clients About Our Client Based in the firm's Taunton offices, you will be joining a highly regarded team with an excellent reputation. The firm has a very wide-ranging client base with clients ranging from sub-audit threshold turnover clients to large corporates and international clients acting for growth-focused limited companies, OMBs, and corporate clients across varying industry sectors. Job Description You will join the Taunton offices as an Outsourced Accounting Senior, responsible for the hands-on delivery of bookkeeping, monthly or quarterly management accounts, reconciliations, and VAT returns. You will take full responsibility for managing a small portfolio of high-value clients and be their main point of contact, overseeing all aspects of their financial operations and handling their finance function. You'll also play a key role in improving their financial systems, ensuring efficiency and compliance. There will be a clear progression path on offer within a leading chartered firm. The Successful Applicant For this Outsourced Accounting Senior role, you will be any of, or a combination of, AAT, ACA, ACCA qualified and will have a career background gained either within industry or within the accountancy practice sector in an accounting firm of any size. You may have focused on the compliance side so far in your career across year-end accounts preparation, audit, tax, etc., and/or bring existing outsourced accounting service skills developed within accountancy practice. You will be looking to further your accountancy practice career within a leading firm of regional chartered accountants, interested in the prospect of undertaking a more client-facing role, providing outsourced accounting services.
