As the Assistant Manager - Outsourcing, you'll be a crucial player in our client's team, supporting the Outsourcing Manager, Client Managers, and Directors. You'll dive into the world of accounting and outsourcing, providing outstanding services to our diverse range of limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders. Get ready to make a real impact! Key Responsibilities: Review and prepare VAT returns. Prepare and review monthly and quarterly management accounts. Provide advice and guidance on cloud-based software to clients and colleagues. Stay updated with changes in legislation. Mentor and support the development of Trainees in the outsourcing team. Assist the Outsourcing Manager with team development and the appraisal process. Required Experience and Skills: Essential: AAT qualification or qualified by experience. Essential: Previous experience in a practice environment. Essential: A minimum of three years of relevant practice accounting experience. Desirable: Experience in supervising staff. Essential: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Accounting Software Packages. Desirable: Knowledge of Digita Suite, SAGE, QuickBooks, Xero, Virtual Cabinet, Dext. Attention to detail and proactive mindset. Strong communication skills. Ability to manage conflicting priorities. Ability to explain technical processes clearly. Strong relationship-building skills with clients. Organized and able to meet deadlines. Excellent time management skills. Benefits: Competitive salary. Hybrid working policy.
