OUTSOURCING SENIOR MANAGER Every day our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals. You will lead the outsourcing function of our Accounting Services team. The outsourcing team serves as an extension of our clients’ finance team, supporting them in meeting their compliance needs. We ensure that our clients' reporting is timely and accurate and therefore forms a sound basis for clients to fulfil their tax and reporting obligations with consequent benefits for society as a whole. A look into the role As the leader of the Outsourcing function within our UK Accounting Services team you will deliver a profitable service line, quality client service and a first-class people experience by: Working with the existing leadership to gain an in-depth understanding of the business and processes Leading and inspiring our people in taking the business forward through change and growth Building scale in the team to meet requirements for growth and monitoring ongoing resource needs Taking the lead in achieving sustained and rapid growth through effective marketing Leading on the conversion of new business opportunities, delivering proposals and presentations to prospects. Supporting the outsourcing manager team, fostering a culture of coaching and development and rewarding great performance Being approachable and accessible and providing technical support and guidance Being responsible for team finances and liaising with stakeholders Leading where necessary on the onboarding of large and complex assignments Being a point of escalation for clients, taking the lead in conversations where required Knowing you’re right for us Joining us as an outsourcing senior manager the

minimum criteria

you’ll need is a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, ICAS, CA, or CIPFA) with: Extensive experience of team leadership Experience of onboarding and managing large outsourcing assignments Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 Good knowledge of UK VAT, corporation tax and employment tax rules Some experience of IFRS would be beneficial Knowing we’re right for you Embracing uniqueness, the culture at Grant Thornton thrives on the contributions of all our people, we never settle for what is easy, we look beyond to deliver the right thing, for everyone.
