CSBC, in partnership with Oxford University, is undertaking a large-scale qualitative and quantitative social network analysis study to identify falsified and substandard (SF) human antimicrobial sources and trade routes and evaluate their likely impact on patient outcomes and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in India. Roles and Responsibilities

As part of the study, CSBC is looking to hire up to two postdoctoral research candidates to work with the Principal Investigators and execute the research project in India. The candidate will be expected to: Conduct literature reviews to deepen understanding of prior work and research methodologies. Work with the Principal Investigator to design the research framework and tools and lead ethnographic field research. Lead the collection and analysis of data from field research and ensure quality control checks. Provide project management support, including preparing materials for submission to granting agencies. Work with the Principal Investigator to mitigate project risks and monitor project execution. Ensure presence and preparation for on-site project team discussions and meetings. An ideal candidate would be: Currently enrolled in or has completed a Ph.D. program in relevant fields. Possess an excellent academic record and strong work ethic. Have a strong qualitative research background; research work samples are a plus. Experience with qualitative data coding and analysis is essential. Possess excellent communication and writing skills in English; proficiency in Hindi and other Indian languages is desirable. Willing to travel for fieldwork across India and the UK. Possess a Master’s or PhD degree in relevant fields. Have 2-3 years experience managing qualitative and quantitative research projects. Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders in research. Strong situational awareness and ability to manage varied tasks efficiently. Prior experience with project management and execution of research studies. Familiarity with qualitative research tools & packages such as NVIVO and AtlasTi is a plus. Skill Sets

Proficiency with Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google software. Proficiency with Slack, Trello, and other management tools is highly desirable. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Creative problem-solving abilities. Possess a positive attitude, independence, and ownership. Friendly, cheerful, and compassionate demeanor.
