About the House It’s a large, detached home offering a safe, supportive environment for children and young people who have experienced trauma, mental health challenges, and/or learning disabilities. With extensive outdoor space, it has opportunities for relaxation and recreation, including outdoor sports and activities in the garden, especially during the summer months. Your Role As a Team Leader, you will: Provide consistent, high-quality care to children and young people. Build trusting relationships to support emotional, social, and educational development. Support the staff in assisting the young people in daily activities, including outdoor sports, gardening, and recreational pursuits. Promote a safe and inclusive environment tailored to the unique needs of everyone. Work collaboratively with the management team, complete supervision, and manage the running of the shifts. Take part in the on-call duty, receiving an additional £15 to the salary plus a call-out fee if needed. About You We are looking for someone who is: Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of young people. Experienced in supporting children with trauma, mental health issues, or learning disabilities (desirable but not essential). A strong supervisor with excellent communication skills.
