Job Purpose
I am a young disabled mum with an 8-year-old child. My disability is a result of a spinal operation, affecting my ability to feel my fingers, toes, and legs, which means I can fall easily due to poor balance. I am also suffering from depression and anxiety. I need a Personal Assistant to support me in my parenting role, help me maintain my independence, and improve my well-being. Location:

Support with meal preparation; domestic tasks including hoovering, cleaning the bathroom, general tidying up, and making the beds in the morning. Support with taking my child to school and attending school meetings. Supporting me and my child with activities, such as day trips and going to the park or shops. Support with making decisions around finances. Companionship to improve my general well-being. Support for my child when my mental health is at a low state. Person Specification

The rate of pay for this position is £18 per hour. Hours and times of work: Friday: 8am - 10am Saturday: 8am - 10am Sunday: 10.30am - 5.30pm Plus cover for other PA's holidays and sickness as required. The post is subject to the following:
A satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, the cost of which will be covered by the employer. Completion of a satisfactory probationary period of 3 months.
