Sending and responding to e‑mails, arranging and organizing diary appointments, and monitoring the progress of responses and actions arising. Paying invoices using the relevant systems. Making payments with the procurement card and reconciling the card statements. Drafting correspondence on sensitive and confidential matters. Following up on complaints and responding as required. Providing comprehensive administrative support. Provision of support and liaison on a variety of matters including organizing the weekly one-to-one meetings and the monthly directorate meeting. Drafting, producing, and collating documents, briefing papers, reports, and presentations. Creation and maintenance of an effective electronic filing system, including security of, and access to, confidential records. Organizing meetings on behalf of the Director, ensuring agenda papers and background information are distributed in advance and followed up as required. Criteria: Experience of managing a varied workload with changing priorities, achieving required deadlines. Ability to work under pressure and have a forward-thinking and positive approach to problem-solving with proven experience of effective decision-making. Experience of providing Executive Support, including diary management, at a senior management level. Knowledge of office facilities management. Ability to identify areas for improvement, drive change, and ensure stakeholders are committed to the vision.
