How you'll make a difference Maximise the effectiveness of our 6 Non-Executive Directors by providing accurate, confidential and proactive secretarial and organisational support. Significant diary management including horizon scanning of NED calendars to ensure no conflicts with other roles external to LBS. Booking monthly meetings, including arrangements for travel, accommodation, organisation of meeting rooms and all onsite requirements. Preparation and dispatch of Board meeting and committee papers to attendees, having flexibility in your approach to individual requirements. Organise the annual NED breakfast meeting and the annual NED dinner. Co-ordination of the annual appraisal process in partnership with the PA to the CEO and Chairman. Processing of expense claims on a monthly basis. Maintaining an excellent working knowledge of the Society's electronic meeting pack system (Board Vantage). Co-ordination of annual Board committee invitations. Co-ordination of ad hoc corporate hospitality events. Being a central contact for the NEDs for any ad hoc queries including IT issues, diary queries etc. What will you bring to the role? Experience of working as a PA at Board level or equivalent. Ability to effectively organise conflicting priorities and complex diaries for both the immediate term and for future priorities. Extremely high awareness and sensitivity around confidential matters. Positive engagement and relationship building skills at a senior level. Good knowledge of board and committee paper dispatch process including production of committee pack. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and to deadlines. Competent in Microsoft packages and web based applications. Ability to draft agendas, produce reports including Board reports and presentations. And in return, you'll get the best from us: An annual colleague bonus of up to 12%.
