Packaging Engineering Technician

Packaging Engineering Technician focuses on quality department to ensure all activities are conducted compliantly and the product meets appropriate quality standards.

What the role involves

• Quality Department to ensure all activities are conducted compliantly and the product meets appropriate quality standards.
• To ensure compliance to companies policies working relationships are required with HR and Health & Safety departments.
• Technical Departments, to obtain technical guidance on qualification/validation activities and information of new and existing product/materials.
• Work co-operatively with appropriate external parties to support companies operations.
• Planning – to ensure the production schedules are known and adhered to.
• Engineering – to ensure support and maintenance of production equipment and services.

Skills and requirements

• NVQ level 3 Manufacturing, Engineering or related field.
• GCSE (C or above) Maths English Science.
• Ideally Packaging Engineering knowledge and experience or substantial pharmaceutical packaging line experience.
