They supply all major retailers across the UK with award winning products. Candidate: You will be able to exemplify in depth food packaging and systems knowledge. You will be able to exemplify a track record of working in fast paced food manufacturing environments. Happy to get stuck in on the factory floor on things like factory trials. Having an up-to-date knowledge of packaging and sustainability trends, challenges and technologies. Ability to create, innovate and investigate more sustainable practices. Helpful if you have the following knowledge: WRAP, Plastic Pact, OPRL. The Role: Assist in building and maintaining the innovation packaging reduction program, driving continuous improvement and sustainable policies. Constantly sharing knowledge and expertise of packaging concepts and materials. Assist the NPD team in new concepts and implement packaging formats off the back of this. Attend packaging trials. Engage with Technical & Operations teams to check quality, reports and claims when required. The Company: They're on a mission to be seen as the industry leaders in this category.
