Matipou Orchard Ltd is looking for staff for the coming season starting mid-February. The days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8am to 5:30pm. Below are the positions we have available:
Graders:
Sort fruit for physical defects, color, pest damage, and overall quality. Cleaners:
Work in the packhouse ensuring the plant meets industry standards. Stackers:
Work in the packhouse stacking packed boxes of fruit. This work involves plenty of heavy lifting, so stackers must be strong and fit. Strappers:
Secure the loads (with tape or plastic wrap) according to the requirements of the shippers. Tray Fillers/Packers:
Watch for fruit defects and ensure the packed product is presented well. Tray Feeders:
