Detailed job description and main responsibilities
The successful applicant will be expected to carry out all duties of a Paediatric Surgery Specialist Registrar, participating in a 1 in 8 compliant on-call rota and supporting the provision of the outreach service.
There are a number of academic meetings in the department, frequently involving members of other disciplines. There are also separate meetings run by the neonatal, infectious diseases, community, and neurology teams.
There is a regular programme of audit meetings, and very active programmes of clinic and research meetings in other departments throughout the medical school. All staff are invited to attend.
