Essential criteria
Registered Nurse (child branch) Degree / evidence of post graduate learning Mentorship or equivalent Children Accident and emergency course or equivalent Desirable criteria
APLS HMIMMS EPLS/ HMIMMS provider Leadership course ATLS Experience Essential criteria
Substantial Paediatric A&E experience with proven experience at Band 6 Current knowledge of NHS reforms Desirable criteria
Specialist knowledge of emergency care Skills and abilities Essential criteria
Excellent communication skills Extended A&E skills: triage/streaming, wound closure, POP, phlebotomy Presentation both verbal and written Able to facilitate learning Evidence of managing a team Desirable criteria
