This is an exciting opportunity to join our paediatric team as Lead Nurse for Patient Safety and Quality. You will work with the paediatric teams to support the development and dissemination of the Patient Safety and Risk strategy. Main Duties of the Job

To support the development and dissemination of the Patient Safety and Risk strategy, fostering a culture that prioritizes clinical quality and risk management: Enable staff to actively participate in identifying, actioning, and evaluating patient safety and risk issues. Lead and support communication and management of issues through Datix in line with policy. Support investigation leads in serious incident investigations. Analyze trends to ensure actions are implemented to reduce the risk of recurrence. Write timely reports identifying issues, lessons learned, and changes to practice. Triangulate patient safety data to ensure appropriate divisional focus on risk and patient safety protection. Person Specification

Experience

Experience in relevant field. Experience working in an environment with conflicting pressures and changing workloads. Experience of working within a team and developing good working relationships with internal and external staff at all levels. What We Can Offer You:
