This is an exciting opportunity to join our paediatric team as Lead Nurse for Patient Safety and Quality. You will work with the paediatric teams to support the development and dissemination of the Patient Safety and Risk strategy within the directorates. Main Duties of the Job

Support the development and dissemination of the Patient Safety and Risk strategy within the directorates. Foster a culture amongst teams that ensures clinical quality and risk management remains a top priority within the division. Enable all staff to actively participate in identifying, actioning, and evaluating all patient safety and risk issues. Lead and support the communication and management of issues through Datix in line with policy. Support investigation leads in the investigation of serious incidents. Analyse trends to ensure actions are put in place to reduce the risk of recurrence. Write timely reports that clearly identify issues, lessons learned, and changes to practice. Triangulate all patient safety data to ensure divisional focus is appropriate to risk and protects patient safety. Person Specification

Experience

Experience in a relevant field. Experience working in an environment with conflicting pressures and changing workload. Experience of working within a team and developing good working relationships with internal and external staff at all levels. What We Can Offer You:
