We are looking for an experienced, innovative and pro-active children's Occupational Therapist who would like to develop their clinical skills in our supportive and well established Children's Therapy Team in beautiful South West Hampshire. Main duties of the job

To provide a specialist Occupational Therapy Service to children and young people on the caseload some of whom may have complex needs. To work as an autonomous practitioner, in collaboration with health, education staff, children/young people and their parents, to deliver integrated specialised packages of care to children with complex needs, including neuro disability, developmental delay, musculoskeletal and neuro muscular conditions and developmental coordination disorder. To provide support and mentoring to less experienced colleagues. To train students, other professionals and staff from other agencies who work with children with functional difficulties. Qualifications

Recognised Occupational Therapy degree level qualification or equivalent Registered member of Health and Care Professions Council Experience

Experience of working with individuals with a range of disorders and/or delay Experience of working with children Experience of engaging with clinical supervision Experience of working in a changing environment Experience of integrated working in multi-professional teams Training and presentation experience Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. Salary: £37,338 to £44,962 a year based on full-time hours.
