We are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to work within our integrated Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy paediatric service. As the successful post holder, you will carry a caseload of children and young people with neurological, neuromuscular and developmental syndromes and conditions. This work will be carried out in a variety of settings including out-patient clinics and community settings such as nurseries, mainstream schools, complex needs schools and within the child’s home environment. If this sounds like the role for you, we would love to hear from you! Main duties of the job
One of the primary duties of this role is to hold the clinical responsibility for a defined caseload of complex and non-complex children and young people, organising this efficiently with regard to clinical priorities and use of time, while being flexible to assist other colleagues and health care professionals as appropriate. You will have support from band 7 colleagues, both Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists. This includes the analysis of information gained from the assessment to formulate objectives and treatment plans in agreement with the child/carers where appropriate. Working for our organisation

We are an ambitious organisation that upholds our values of kindness, wellness and fairness. We strive for continuous quality improvement, recently demonstrated in our 2024 CQC maternity inspection rating our services as ‘Good’, and we are proud to be a place to learn and grow through recognised learning and apprenticeships. We recognise and reward our 4,000 staff and volunteers, priding ourselves on a community atmosphere and positive team spirit. We have approx. 530 beds across 33 wards and have newly built education and training facilities, a range of modern award-winning centres alongside a talented team of people ready to give you a warm welcome.
