for passionate, positive relationship builder, with experience working with a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model to join our team as a permanent,

full-time or part-time , Paediatric Speech Pathologist. This fulfilling role will provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services across the scope of practice to children with a disability to achieve their goals and live the life they choose. Your working days may involve: delivering therapy in people's homes, educational settings or in the community; aimed at maximising a person’s functional skills and participation as well as promoting physical health and wellbeing communication skills and/or mealtime safety and promoting overall health and wellbeing. working part of an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Psychologists providing indirect client service/family coordination to support client goals. About You

You’ll be an established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, be a member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA), have good interpersonal skills, and ability to engage people with a disability, motivate them and build their capability. You’ll have an ability to work in partnership with children with a disability to set and achieve goals, and to work collaboratively with the person’s supports, including their families. experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families the opportunity to build on your clinical practice – including the ability to self-reflect and a focus on developing clinical skills in areas you’re not familiar with care for the work you do and for the people you work with competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills an Australian driver’s licence and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel across southern suburbs as required Appointment is subject to pre-employment checks including the NDIS Worker Screening Check, Inherent Position Requirements Employee Declaration, Working with Children’s Check, Reference Checks, Speech Pathology Australia membership, AHPRA Registration Check and evidence of up to date COVID-19 vaccinations.
