In order to ensure that we continue to deliver excellent nursing care, we are currently recruiting qualified paediatric nurses to join our dynamic nursing team.
As part of our team, you will be supported in your own professional development and encouraged to take personal ownership for the high levels of care we provide to our patients and their families.
The acute paediatric area consists of the following:
Fistral - 10 beds for medical and surgical patients aged 11-16 years; CLIC - 4 cubicles for children and young people with cancer and leukaemia; Harlyn - 8 day beds for surgical and medical; Polkerris - 12 beds for children and young people with both medical and surgical problems; Paediatric Assessment Unit for assessment and initial management; Paediatric High Dependency Unit - 3 level two beds.
The successful candidate may be provided with the exciting opportunity to rotate between all of these areas.

To work as a skilled member of the nursing team to provide a high standard of holistic family centred care to the children and families. To promote family centred care and establish good relationships with children and their families. To communicate effectively at all levels within the multi-disciplinary team.
Sustainability is integral to the Trust achieving the NHS Net Zero target. All staff are therefore actively encouraged and supported to implement new ways of working within their field of expertise.
