We've partnered with an international I.T. design and manufacturing firm based in Farnborough, who are currently looking to recruit a permanent Paintshop Manager to join their team as they continue to expand.
What you'll be doing as a Paintshop Manager:
Managing a team of four, conducting appraisals and training. Driving continuous improvement processes including lean principles throughout the department. Managing production and team performance, striving to meet business targets. Reviewing and adjusting staffing levels periodically to meet forward production plans. Communicating production schedules and priorities to the team. Overseeing quality control. Implementing and maintaining health and safety practices across the paint shop. Managing inventory, including raw materials, paint shelf life, and purchasing requirements. Tracking departmental budgets and overseeing general administrative tasks.
Must haves for this Paintshop Manager role: Proven experience with both wet and powder coating processes and the ability to identify areas for improvement. Experience with inventory and bills of materials is desirable. Professional, organised, and proactive with excellent multitasking skills. Proven leadership qualities.
