The role:
As Paint Shop Supervisor, you’ll be leading a small team of 4 skilled professionals, working together to prepare steel trailers for painting to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing steelwork and mastic joints/seams for the paint process.
Sanding work between coats and ensuring a smooth finish.
Overseeing the quality of all work entering and leaving the paint shop.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work environment.
Collaborating with your team to meet production targets and deliver top-notch results.
Always enforcing and adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements include:
At least 2 years of experience in a paint shop or similar supervisory role.
Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a solid understanding of painting processes.
Ability to motivate and guide a small team, ensuring productivity and quality remain high.
Ability to adapt to changing schedules and overtime as required.
