Birmingham Due to our client's success and growth, we have a new position as a Paint Sprayer/General Operative. This role requires a team player with extensive hand spraying experience. Our client specializes in a variety of industries including Automotive, Industrial, Engineering, and Medical sectors. The successful Paint Sprayer candidate should have: A minimum of 3 years' experience spraying all types of paints onto automotive components of various sizes. Ability to spray high volume components to a consistently high-quality standard throughout a shift. Experience with primers, basecoats, lacquers, and metallics. Knowledge of all types of substrates and their preparation prior to painting, and experience with 1 and 2k paint mixing. Understanding of spray equipment, from stripping and cleaning spray guns to spray-booth maintenance. Able to independently set up and adjust spray gun settings as per works instructions and competently spray specific jobs unsupervised. Ability to meet deadlines and respond positively to pressure. Can work speedily with no detriment to quality, managing time well with no loss of output. To understand and work to detailed works instructions. General operative duties as required by the business.
