Pertemps Manchester are looking for a paint sprayer/prepper for our client based in Middleton. Previous experience is required, and the role is a temporary position for a contract with a minimum of 4 weeks.

You will play a crucial role in the preparation of surfaces for painting, ensuring that all items are ready for the application of paint. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. You will work closely with the painting team to ensure that all necessary preparations are completed efficiently and effectively.
Duties
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as required. Operate hand tools and power tools to assist in the preparation process. Conduct inspections of surfaces to identify any imperfections or areas needing additional attention. Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials and equipment as necessary. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
Strong mechanical knowledge to understand the operation of various tools and equipment. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. Proficiency in using hand tools such as sanders, scrapers, and brushes. Experience with power tools including drills and sprayers. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
