In this community nursing role, as a Registered Nurse (RN) you will have scheduled visits to care for patients with palliative care needs as part of a palliative care team comprising of Nurses, PSWs, and Allied Health members. You will work with patients of all ages with differing complexity of care and play a key role in helping patients navigate through their care journey. ParaMed is also pleased to partner with HealthForceOntario (HFO) as an approved employer for the Community Commitment Program for Nurses (CCPN) which provides a $25,000 retention bonus to eligible nurses in exchange for a 24-month, full-time commitment. Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area Passion for making a difference in your community Required on-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and to meet patient care needs – one instance every 8 weeks Time Type:
