Job Description As the Paper Mill Production Manager you will be responsible for: Responsible for the achievement of envisaged aims, by operating in compliance with safety, environmental and product's safety provisions, ISO 9001 Quality System and Group's policies. Manage the production personnel, including shift rotation. Organise the personnel's technical training, testing their acquisition level. Collaborate with the Production Planning Office suggesting possible corrective actions. Ensure that the product is compliant with the assigned technical specifications. Collaborate with the Product Office in the permanent updating of technical specifications, signalling anomalies and suggesting alterations for an ongoing improvement. Participate in the activities to develop new products checking their technical feasibility and, if necessary, managing technical tests and sampling. Participate in the assessment of auxiliary raw materials by organising and following their industrial tests. Promote the permanent improvement aimed at the optimisation of productive processes also through innovative solutions. Collaborate with the Maintenance in order to guarantee the correct functioning of productive lines. Supervise compliance with safety provisions. Contribute to the creation of new products. Promote a safety, quality and environment -bound corporate culture. Promote the Corporate Principles and Values. The Successful Applicant A successful Paper Mill Production Manager should have: A degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field. Essential is experience in a production, operations management role within the packaging or paper mill manufacturing environments packaging. Strong knowledge of converting operations and production processes. Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing production teams. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations in a manufacturing setting. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Proven experience in a managerial role within the industrial/manufacturing sector. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong leadership abilities and team management skills.
