About the role
Moorside Legal, a key entity within APN Group, is a dynamic new law firm specialising in debt recovery. We are committed to delivering high-quality legal services, and pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Junior Paralegal to join our dedicated team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage a workload of litigated debt recovery cases from inception to resolution, ensuring adherence to deadlines and client expectations.
Provide comprehensive support to the Principal Solicitor in legal matters, including drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and managing case files.
Conduct legal research and analysis, staying current with relevant laws and regulations to provide accurate and up-to-date information to the legal team.
Assist in client communication, maintaining positive relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
Assist with ideas to develop the Case Management system.
About You
A minimum of 1 years’ experience working in civil litigation paralegal role (ideally focused on debt recovery).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to tight timescales.
Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
Desirable:
Educated to degree level in a relevant subject.
A desire to progress in a legal career

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
