We're working alongside a “top 200”, leading regional firm, looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our clients Commercial Property team in their Stamford office. The role will be working alongside fee earners, and will involve assisting with and undertaking routine Commercial Property work. This role is perfect for a candidate who is looking to take their career to the next level within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Client liaison and assisting with enquires.
- Leasehold and freehold acquisitions and disposals.
- Drafting and approving leases.
- Due diligence (enquiries and title investigation).
- Undertaking necessary searches.
- Utility company easements and transfers.
- Auction packs.
- Exchange, completion and post completion related correspondence and formalities (to include Stamp Duty Land Tax, Companies House and Land Registry Registrations).
- Ensuring that balances are clear, and files are closed at the end of the matter.
What we need from you:
- High personal standards of work.
- Minimum of 12 months experience within Commercial Property.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to speak to people on the phone.
