Paralegal - Professional Support - Commercial Property
Full time, Permanent, Northampton, £23,000 per annum, Ref No: IPRS7065 Our client has an unusual and interesting opportunity for a Paralegal to work alongside their Professional Support Lawyer. This is a non-client-facing resource that provides support to a busy team of commercial property solicitors. Your role would involve: Carrying out research tasks Keeping up to date on case law and passing knowledge to the commercial property team News analysis – and passing knowledge to the commercial property team Maintaining the knowledge system Keeping up to date on precedents and passing knowledge to the commercial property team Training updates for the commercial property team The successful candidate will have a 2:1 law degree – or PGDL and knowledge/experience of commercial property. It is essential that you have excellent reading and written skills along with strong research skills. This role is ideal for a candidate who is not looking to pursue a training contract or to have a caseload. It is a different aspect of legal support which will appeal to candidates who really enjoy the research and technical aspects of legal work and have a preference for working on the practical side of the law rather than the fee-earning side.
