Job Summary We are seeking an experienced

Paranormal Team Leader

to lead our Ghost Hunting Behind Bars events. You will lead groups of visitors through a Ghost Hunting experience using different methods and utilizing different pieces of equipment, including Spirit Board and Table Tipping. Responsibilities for this role are: Achieve Operational Objectives: The Paranormal Team Leader is responsible for contributing to the company’s overall customer service, experience, and upselling goals and objectives. This includes meeting targets, improving performance, and contributing to the company’s success. Developing a deep understanding of all products and services offered at Shepton Mallet Prison to effectively assist customers. To upsell alternative activities, experiences and secondary spend opportunities available at the prison. Maintain cleanliness as necessary. Systems & Equipment: Have full knowledge of the equipment available for use. Ensuring all paranormal equipment is maintained, returned and readily available for use. Research and recommend new equipment or technology for enhanced investigations. Ensure the site is prepared for the event as necessary, paperwork and visitor lists are updated in preparation for arrival. Operate the till system, ensuring the balance of monies at the end of shift. Customer Interaction: Providing a warm welcome to all visitors at check in and deliver the health & safety brief before the event starts. Leading each group, ensuring all visitors have what is required, as well as ensuring a high standard of experience for them. Leading the way in delivering first class customer service and engagement. Interacting with customers in a respectful and professional manner, supporting customers who may feel ‘spooked’ during their visit. Compliance: Ensuring compliance with day-to-day health & safety and security protocols, ensuring the safety of all visitors and staff members. Problem Solving: The Paranormal Team Leader will need to identify and address any challenges and issues that may arise at a Ghost Hunting Behind Bars event. They should be able to find solutions and mitigate problems effectively. Effective Communication: Good communication is key to the role. The Paranormal Team Leader should ensure clear and transparent communication to the Events & Experiences Manager, colleagues and with other departments. Customer and Stakeholder Satisfaction: Ensuring that our visitors have their expectations exceeded with the quality of the Ghost Hunting Behind Bars events.
