07761801122 SUMMARY Rawcliffe is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England incorporating the additional village of Rawcliffe Bridge. Rawcliffe Parish Council is seeking to appoint a part-time parish clerk whose role will be to help councillors address current challenges and embrace future changes. The parish clerk is the council’s chief officer and principal adviser, assisting in the formation of policies and responsible for the effective management of all its business, resources, staff, and operations. We seek a forward-thinking and proactive parish clerk to take responsibility for all aspects of the council’s operation and hope to attract individuals with the knowledge, experience, and energy to help us achieve our goals while maintaining high standards. Applicants must demonstrate significant managerial experience and ideally will have relevant knowledge of local government law and procedures, having worked as a clerk or in a similar role (full training can be provided for an applicant with transferable skills). The successful applicant may need to store some of the council's property at their home address (this will be discussed and agreed upon at the time of appointment). Closing date for applications:
