Key Result Areas/Overview:

Provide a responsive service to users of parking services. Deal with correspondence, appeals, permits, telephone calls, income, refunds, complaints, courts, and bailiffs. Represent the client at adjudication and attend seminars and other working groups as necessary. Report to the team leader on the requirements for appropriate stock for all functions. Experience within appeals is essential for the role.

The Dimensions of this Role: Work within a team of officers providing the customer interface in parking services. Keep the team leader informed on cases, appeals win rates, and problems with the computerized systems. Hold knowledge of Traffic and Parking Legislation and consider appeals in line with legislation. Be responsible for decision-making on whether the appeal is accepted or rejected. Make suggestions for developing procedures to improve service delivery, customer focus, and efficiency. Assist the team leader with reconciling payments and tracing errors. Process payments and refunds received directly at the council. Provide the highest level of customer care as the first point of contact for teams dealing with all aspects of parking, including complex cases.

Candidate Requirements: The candidate must be an excellent communicator with previous Parking Appeals experience of 6 months or more. You will have an eye for detail along with experience of working with computerized systems.

Work Schedule: You will be required to work 37+ hours per week, Monday to Friday, usually between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm or 9 am and 6 pm; however, there may be more flexibility for the right candidate.

Compensation: This role will pay between £18.00 - £20.00 Ltd PH.
