District Enforcement Limited are a leading supplier in Car Park Enforcement, Moorings Enforcement and Environmental Crime. We currently have 500 contracts across the UK and due to our continued growth within the Car Parking Industry, we are now recruiting for the position of Parking Enforcement Team Manager based in the Midlands. Previous enforcement experience is preferred yet not essential, as full training will be given. As a Parking Enforcement Team Manager, you will be expected to patrol sites in accordance with an agreed deployment strategy. You will work closely with senior management to ensure efficient monitoring and enforcement of the site is achieved. Using the most recent equipment, you will be expected to issue PCNs (Parking Charge Notices) to all vehicles which are in contravention of the parking regulations set out on site. The Ideal Candidate will have: Management experience to effectively manage a team of Parking Enforcement Officers undertaking regular reviews. Previous experience in a customer service role and handling difficult situations professionally. The ability to communicate with offenders, often in demanding circumstances, in a calm and assertive manner. Deal with members of the public from all cultures and backgrounds in a diplomatic and professional manner. Be resilient, as some interactions with offenders can become confrontational. The ability to defuse hostile situations professionally. Must enjoy working outdoors and in all weather conditions. Work under pressure, independently or as part of a team, and on own initiative to carry out the enforcement role. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Be physically fit, as you may be required to carry out foot patrols for prolonged periods. You will be required to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays); flexibility for the role is essential.
