About The Role: We have partnered with a design-led studio where contextual architectural design is at the heart of their ethos. Providing private clients with bespoke and aspirational designs, this studio is seeking an experienced Part II or Project Architect with prior experience within the sector to provide support on stunning high-end residential projects. As the Part II or Project Architect, you would have at least a couple of years of experience leading and coordinating high-end residential projects from concept to completion. With a good eye for detailing within a contemporary aesthetic, the perfect candidate would be able to manage projects when working both collaboratively and independently. You will be joining a close-knit team, based in a purpose-built studio that is pet friendly, tucked away in a beautiful part of London, filled with great pubs, good travel links and a vibrant atmosphere! Key Responsibilities: Lead the design and delivery of high-end residential projects from concept to completion, ensuring excellence in design and execution. Manage client relationships, acting as the main point of contact for private clients and ensuring their vision is met with bespoke solutions. Oversee project coordination, liaising with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery. Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, planning policies, and technical standards. Mentor and manage junior team members, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative studio environment. Control project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints. Work collaboratively with a tight-knit team on various projects simultaneously. Key Skills/Requirements: A degree in Architecture is necessary for the role. At least 3 years’ experience within the UK, post Part II. Experience on at least 2 projects within high-end residential designs is essential. Strong proficiency in Vectorworks and/or AutoCAD is necessary for the role. Proficiency in Sketchup and/or Enscape is desirable. Strong understanding of technical stages and detailing would be an advantage. Good understanding of UK planning processes and building regulations. Fluency in both written and verbal English.
