Part Qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant to join an accountancy firm in Plymouth Support, technical skill development and progression on offer in a growing firm. About Our Client This very successful firm of accountants based in Plymouth acts for a wide range of sole trader, partnership, and limited company clients across varying turnovers and industry sectors, including OMBs and larger corporates with audit requirements, charities, and other clients. Job Description As an AAT qualified and/or ACA/ACCA Part Qualified Accountant based in the firm's Plymouth offices, you will prepare financial statements for a diverse range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. You will also be involved in tax compliance work, manage juniors by reviewing bookkeeping work, and provide guidance. There may be potential involvement with audit work, depending on your preferences, motivations, and experience. Your responsibilities and involvement with clients and wider accounting and tax project work will increase over time as you develop within the team and role. You will be encouraged to progress and develop your career, with the support of highly experienced professionals and study support for those pursuing further qualifications. The Successful Applicant You will be AAT qualified, studying for AAT, ACCA, or other qualifications, or have developed your career through experience. Most importantly, you will have a background in the accountancy practice sector, working within a firm of accountants of any size, with at least two to three years of experience preparing year-end accounts, tax, and providing other services for clients. You will be looking to progress within your career and seeking an opportunity within a leading firm of chartered accountants that offers a path for development.
