Part Time - 1 day per week We are passionately and exclusively representing our client, Chefs Counter, as they recruit an experienced Finance Manager into their small, but growing team on a part time basis. This role is integral to the growth of the business. Chef Counter is on an incredibly exciting journey, and the successful candidate will be an essential part of the team to help the continued growth of the organisation. To start with, this role will be part time, working 1 day per week (this can be spread across two half days), but in time it’s likely the hours will increase in line with the growth of the business. This is a brilliant role for a confident Finance Manager, who is passionate about leading the finance function of a business and working autonomously. We would love to hear from candidates who know their way around Xero, are confident working with Excel, and are looking to join a team full to the brim with lovely people. Typical duties and responsibilities for this role will include: Taking full responsibility of the finance function of the business Updating Xero and company-wide spreadsheets with financial data Producing invoices Chasing outstanding monies due to the organisation Preparing reports Preparing budgets Financial planning to help forecast the future direction of the organisation Making payments Working collaboratively with external Accountants Other financial duties as required We are looking to speak to candidates who have the following skills and experience: Solid financial management experience having worked in a similar Finance Manager role Qualifications in finance including AAT/ACA/ACCA would be advantageous but not essential Confidence using Xero Skilled using Excel and the full suite of MS Office Ability to produce complex financial reports and budgets Personable and friendly to fit in with the wider team Career driven and seeking a long-term and progressive role (an increase in hours may be applicable in the future) For further information about this role, please contact Becca as soon as possible.
