Elevation Accountancy & Finance are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing firm based in the Wirral area who are looking to appoint a Part Time Finance Manager on a permanent basis.
The successful applicant will act as the business partner for the division, ensuring transactional and compliance processes, along with monthly accounts packs are completed to a high standard.
Key duties include: Oversee work of transactional team and Assistant Accountant to maintain data integrity Preparation (and further development) of the month-end management accounts pack and ledger management Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations Management and analysis of the P&L including variance analysis with commentary Maintain Fixed Asset Register Daily bank reconciliations and cashflow management Proactively monitor and improve working capital Provide valuable insight to key senior stakeholders Finance point of contact for business units Prepare VAT returns & payments Prepare monthly payroll and pension submissions Reports and analysis as requested Development of key finance processes and control systems Person specification: Qualified or qualified by experience Experience producing monthly management accounts Experience of balance sheet reconciliations Sound transactional experience Excellent communication and time management skills
