A fantastic opportunity to join a growing, owner-managed business based in Beverley, East Yorkshire in the role of Part-time Financial Controller. You will be a hands-on accountant and will work closely with the Managing Director to help shape the growth of the business and provide valuable support. The role offers a salary of up to £50,000 pro-rata, plus benefits.
Leading the day-to-day finance requirements of the business, your responsibilities as Part-time Financial Controller will include: Production of monthly management accounts Running the monthly payroll Cashflow forecasting Bank reconciliations Overseeing the office management and admin Working with the MD to build budgets and forecasts Identifying and implementing process improvements
To be considered for this Part-time Financial Controller position and be successful in post, you will need the following: CIMA, ACCA, or ACA (ICAEW) qualification or QBE qualified by equivalent experience A proactive and practical “can do” attitude Ability to set own deadlines and work without supervision Good team player who is keen to be involved with the wider business Strong systems knowledge including Xero and Excel
