Due to our continued growth within SSEN Transmission, we have several opportunities for part-time discipline engineers to help deliver our ambitious growth plans for the future, particularly the "Pathway to 2030" ( 'Pathway to 2030' underpins £7bn+ investment in north of Scotland transmission network | SSE ) and our NetZero 2050 plans. Ideally, we are looking for a minimum of 21 hours a week with flexible working patterns from 3-5 days. There are various specialisms required which include: Civil Engineering. Overhead Lines. Substations. Cables. You have

Previous responsibility for the associated Engineering discipline delivery on assigned projects of typical capital value £200M - £1B. The ability to provide technical input for your specialist discipline as well as interfacing with other technical and project functions. Demonstrable experience and knowledge of Energy or Networks industries are preferable. Good technical knowledge of industry standards, technical specifications, and how to determine applicability of relevant standards. A degree in appropriate engineering discipline (preferably CEng or working towards this). About SSE
