Leading focus activities linked to the early years curriculum and facilitating free flow play both inside and outdoors, to maximize each child’s daily experience and development. Recording observations of the children's development. Contributing to the planning of suitable learning and development activities. Feeding/supporting children at meal and snack times and cleaning children and the dining room afterwards. Changing nappies and assisting with toileting and hygiene requirements. Ensuring the safeguarding of all children by being constantly aware of potential risks and hazards and promoting safe practices. Supporting the children in an age-appropriate way in becoming independent around certain tasks, while also modeling and teaching the children the importance of kindness, respect, and manners. Plus a variety of other duties to ensure the children in our setting receive the highest standards of care and have fun throughout their day. Minimum Requirements:
Qualified level 2 early years practitioner or above. A minimum of six months experience working as a nursery practitioner. Live within a commutable distance to the setting (LS15 4TA). A warm, engaging, and charismatic manner. A team player. This part-time role is: Working shifts from 7.30am - 5.30pm & 8.00am - 6.00pm, 2 days a week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays).
