Your new company Hays are delighted to be partnering with a superb US-owned manufacturing business with an international presence based in Warwickshire. The company has superb offices and an enviable reputation in their niche markets. Your new role This is a part-time role (14 hours per week) to join a great team and could be for 2 or 3 days per week with 1 day in the office. We are looking for qualified candidates, ACA, ACCA or CIMA with a strong technical bias and knowledge of preparing statutory accounts for numerous entities ideally both within the UK and overseas. Key duties include: You will ensure timely preparation and submission of both UK and Overseas legal entity statutory reporting and tax returns, in accordance with local GAAP/IFRS and other reporting standards. You will be responsible for timely preparation and submission of regulatory and compliance reports & surveys. You will support the analytical review process, prepare balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with VAT return preparation. You will establish and manage strong relationships with the tax team, external auditors and tax advisors. You will support the manager with common processes and other ad-hoc projects to drive efficiency and quality improvements within the team. What you'll need to succeed We are looking for a fully qualified candidate who is looking for the flexibility of a part-time role. This would suit someone who has trained within a larger Accountancy Practice or an international business. Excellent knowledge of IFRS and preparation of numerous statutory accounts is essential. Knowledge of US GAAP and overseas accounting standards would also be beneficial. What you'll get in return This is an excellent chance to join a hugely successful and impressive organisation.
