Role Overview This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has reached a stage in life where full-time work is no longer a necessity but who enjoys staying active, engaged, and productive. We are looking for a Part-Time Swimming Pool Maintenance Engineer to join our team for three days a week, assisting with the maintenance and installation of swimming pools, pumps, saunas, and hot tubs. The role offers flexibility and a supportive working environment, making it ideal for someone with technical experience who values a balanced lifestyle. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Servicing:

Perform regular maintenance of swimming pools, hot tubs, and saunas, including cleaning, chemical treatment, and equipment servicing. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical components such as pumps, filters, and heating systems.

Installation Projects:

Assist with the installation of swimming pools, hot tubs, saunas, and associated systems. Help set up plumbing and electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.

Water Quality Management:

Test and balance water chemistry to maintain safe and hygienic conditions for users. Resolve water quality issues promptly and efficiently.

Customer Interaction:

Provide excellent service to clients, offering advice and recommendations for pool care and maintenance schedules. Respond to client inquiries professionally and ensure a positive experience.

Skills & Experience Essential: Understanding of a technical or trade role, such as pool maintenance, plumbing, or general building. Knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, or electrical systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A full UK driving license (or applicable license based on location). Desirable: Prior experience in swimming pool maintenance and installation. Knowledge of water chemistry and chemical dosing systems. Familiarity with hot tubs, saunas, and other wellness equipment. Personal Attributes A reliable and self-motivated individual who enjoys practical, hands-on work. Friendly and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
